Neurofeedback Therapy for ADHD
This project was initiated by my girlfriend and me in 2021, and we have continued working on it to the present day. The purpose of this project is to explore how real-time neurofeedback can assist children with conditions like ADHD, such as our younger brother, in improving their attention. As of now, this project has received a total of $16,000 in funding and has resulted in the publication of two research papers:
An Chen, Yongpeng Han, e.g. Exploring the Effects of Different BCI-based Attention Training Games on the Brain: A functional Near-infrared Spectroscopy Study [J]. Neuroscience Letters. (Complete the major revision)
An Chen, Yongpeng Han, e.g. AttentionGo: A Family-based Tangible Neurofeedback Tool Supporting Sustainable Training for
Children with ADHD. (Submitted on CHI’24, In progress)
My primary responsibilities in this project have included prototyping, embedded system development, and interactive game development using Unity.
